This award recognizes a family of a current Utah Tech student who has shown extraordinary support to their student(s), whether personally or academically, during the student’s time at Utah Tech. The nominated families have also gone above and beyond supporting Utah Tech University as a whole and the St. George/Southwest Utah Community. At Utah Tech University, we recognize that “family” can mean many different things. Family members might include parents, grandparents, guardians, siblings, cousins, or even close friends and chosen family. You can honor these loved ones by nominating them for the Utah Tech University Family of the Year. Nominations for this award may come from any full-time student or employee at Utah Tech. The nomination forms are reviewed by the New Student and Family Programs Office and compared against category criteria to narrow the field to five finalists and select a winner.
